are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Hybrid Assistant
Controller to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of a
hybrid work model, allowing you to work both remotely and on-site.
As an Accounting Manager, you will be a vital part of our financial
operations, ensuring all accounting tasks are performed accurately
and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for overseeing our
accounting department, managing financial reporting, and ensuring
our company complies with all regulatory standards. We are looking
for a candidate with a strong background in job cost accounting,
financial reporting, and experience with Sage Intacct
software.Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage the general
accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, general ledger, and taxes.2. Manage and supervise
accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day
supervision and leadership.3. Maintain and improve processes and
controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory
valuation.4. Lead the development and implementation of financial
data management systems.5. Regularly produce financial reports and
statements, and prepare and analyze budgets.6. Perform regular,
detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents,
expenditures, and investments.7. Forecast revenue and analyze
profit margins.8. Oversee financial reporting and perform monthly,
quarterly, and annual financial analysis.9. Investigate and resolve
any discrepancies in financial reports and statements.10. Ensure
all accounting practices align with the relevant regulatory
standards.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification
would be an added advantage.2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience
in a similar role, with a focus on job cost accounting and
financial reporting.3. Solid experience with Sage Intacct
software.4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.5.
Strong understanding of tax codes, regulations, and procedures.6.
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost
accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP).7. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills.8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.9.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through
ambiguity and complexity.10. Proven ability to manage multiple
priorities, complex situations, and strong problem solving and
