Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Inpatient Facility Certified
Medical Coder - National Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes for inpatient services and
understand their impact on DRG
Provide documentation feedback to providers and query physicians
when appropriate
Maintain coding knowledge and participate in department meetings
and educational events
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or higher
Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC (e.g.,
RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
3+ years of Acute Care Inpatient medical coding experience
Experience in a Level I trauma center or teaching hospital
ICD-10 (CM & PCS) and DRG coding experience
